متن کاملEnergy and field size dependence of a silicon diode designed for small-field dosimetry
Purpose: To investigate the energy dependence/spectral sensitivity of silicon diodes designed for small-field dosimetry and obtain response factors (RFs) for arbitrary photon spectra using Monte Carlo (MC) simulations. Methods: The EGSnrc user-code DOSRZnrc was used to calculate the dose deposition in water and in the active volume of a stereotactic diode f...
متن کاملTemperature and size dependence of antiferromagnetism in mn nanostructures.
We report on variable-temperature STM investigations of the spontaneous long-range magnetic order of Mn monolayer nanostructures epitaxially grown on stepped W(110). The measurements reveal that the onset of the antiferromagnetic order is closely related to the Mn nanostructure width along the [001] direction, with a decreasing Néel temperature as we move from a 2D toward a quasi-1D system. In ...
متن کاملAntiferromagnetic layer thickness dependence of the IrMnÕCo exchange-bias system
A study of exchange bias in IrMn/Co systems is presented. Temperature and thickness dependence studies have revealed nonmonotonic behavior in both exchange bias fiel and coercivity with both variables. In particular the exchange bias fiel shows a peak for low IrMn thicknesses that is suppressed at temperatures higher than about 200 K. Calculations using the domain state model of exchange biasin...
